BRTLS Gift Card Terms
These Gift Card Terms apply to the purchase, delivery, redemption and use of BRTLS Gift Cards.
They supplement the BRTLS Terms & Conditions.
Where a Gift Card is used to purchase a BRTLS Fatherhood Journey, the Fatherhood Journey Terms also apply to that Journey.
Nothing in these Gift Card Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
1. About BRTLS Gift Cards
A BRTLS Gift Card is a digital gift card with a monetary value in euros.
It can be used toward eligible purchases on brtls.store, including a BRTLS Fatherhood Journey.
A Gift Card represents prepaid purchasing value. It does not itself provide access to a paid Fatherhood Journey.
Receiving a Gift Card does not automatically enrol the recipient in a paid service or create an obligation to make a purchase.
2. Available Gift Card values
BRTLS may offer Gift Cards in selected denominations, including:
- €50
- €100
- €199
- €349
- €599
The available values are displayed on the Gift Card product page before purchase.
Gift Card values are denominated in euros.
BRTLS may change the denominations available for future purchases without reducing the remaining value of previously issued Gift Cards.
3. Digital delivery
BRTLS Gift Cards are delivered digitally.
After successful payment, the Gift Card and its redemption information will be provided electronically, normally by email.
Delivery may depend on the accuracy of the email address provided and the operation of relevant email services.
If you do not receive your Gift Card, please contact info@brtls.store.
BRTLS may verify the purchase before reissuing Gift Card information to protect against fraud or unauthorised access.
4. Gift Card validity
BRTLS Gift Cards are valid for five years from the date of issue.
The expiry date will be communicated with the Gift Card or made available through an accessible balance or validity check.
A Gift Card may be redeemed until its expiry date.
Where mandatory law provides a longer period of validity or other rights, those legal rights apply.
BRTLS will not reduce the validity of an already issued Gift Card through a later change to these Terms.
5. How to redeem a Gift Card
A Gift Card can be redeemed by entering its valid redemption code during checkout on brtls.store.
The Gift Card value is applied toward the eligible purchase.
If the purchase total exceeds the available Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.
If the purchase total is lower than the available balance, the unused value remains available for future eligible purchases during the Gift Card's validity period.
Gift Cards do not automatically trigger a purchase, payment or enrolment.
6. Eligible purchases
Gift Cards may be used toward eligible BRTLS products and services available on brtls.store.
This includes the BRTLS Fatherhood Journey, subject to availability and the terms applicable at the time of purchase.
Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase additional Gift Cards unless BRTLS expressly permits this.
BRTLS may reasonably restrict redemption where necessary to prevent fraud, unlawful activity or misuse, subject to applicable consumer law.
7. Using a Gift Card for a Fatherhood Journey
The BRTLS Fatherhood Journey is currently available in three fixed-duration options:
- 90 days — €199
- 180 days — €349
- 365 days — €599
A Gift Card can be used toward the purchase price of an eligible Journey.
The recipient chooses which Journey to purchase.
If the Gift Card does not cover the full price, the recipient pays the difference.
A Gift Card does not guarantee that future Journey prices or product options will remain unchanged.
The applicable Journey price and terms are those presented at checkout.
Once purchased, the Journey is governed by the Fatherhood Journey Terms.
8. No automatic renewal or recurring charges
A BRTLS Gift Card does not create a subscription or authorise recurring payments.
A Fatherhood Journey purchased using a Gift Card is a fixed-duration purchase.
It ends automatically after the selected period.
No additional Journey is purchased or charged automatically.
9. Gift Card balances
A Gift Card may be used across multiple eligible purchases until its balance is exhausted or its validity period ends.
BRTLS may provide a method for checking the remaining balance.
If you need help identifying the available balance, contact info@brtls.store.
For security reasons, BRTLS may require information reasonably necessary to verify the Gift Card or purchase.
10. Statutory withdrawal from a Gift Card purchase
Consumers purchasing a Gift Card online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after the agreement is concluded, subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.
Where a valid statutory withdrawal is exercised, BRTLS will provide the reimbursement required by applicable consumer law.
The consequences of withdrawal may differ if the Gift Card has already been redeemed.
BRTLS will assess such circumstances in accordance with applicable law and will not exclude statutory rights merely because a Gift Card was delivered digitally.

11. Refunds for unused Gift Cards
Outside applicable statutory withdrawal rights or other mandatory legal remedies, Gift Cards are generally not refundable or redeemable for cash.
A change of preference by the purchaser or recipient does not automatically create a right to a refund after the applicable statutory withdrawal period.
This does not affect mandatory consumer rights.
12. Refunds for purchases made with a Gift Card
If a purchase paid wholly or partly with a Gift Card qualifies for a refund, the amount paid using Gift Card value will normally be returned as Gift Card value.
Any amount paid using another payment method will normally be refunded to that payment method.
Where applicable law requires a different method of reimbursement, those legal requirements take precedence.
Any restored Gift Card value will retain at least the remaining validity of the original Gift Card, subject to applicable law.
13. The Fatherhood Journey 30-day money-back guarantee
BRTLS offers a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee on eligible Fatherhood Journey purchases.
This guarantee also applies when an eligible Journey is purchased using a Gift Card.
If a refund is requested under the Journey guarantee:
- the amount paid using Gift Card value will normally be restored as Gift Card value;
- any additional amount paid using another payment method will normally be refunded through that payment method;
- paid Journey access may end once the refund has been processed.
The Journey guarantee does not automatically create a separate 30-day cash refund right for the original Gift Card purchase.
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Lost, stolen or disclosed Gift Card codes
Gift Card codes should be treated as valuable purchasing information.
Please keep your code secure and avoid sharing it publicly.
If a Gift Card code is lost, stolen or disclosed without authorisation, contact BRTLS as soon as possible.
BRTLS may investigate and, where technically possible and appropriate, deactivate or replace an unused Gift Card code after reasonable verification.
BRTLS cannot guarantee recovery of value already redeemed by an unauthorised person.
Nothing in this section excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Fraud and misuse
BRTLS may temporarily suspend or restrict a Gift Card where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorised transactions or serious misuse.
Any action will be proportionate and subject to applicable consumer law.
Where a Gift Card has been purchased or used legitimately, BRTLS will not arbitrarily remove its remaining value.
16. Changes to Gift Card Terms
BRTLS may update these Gift Card Terms where reasonably necessary, including because of legal, operational, security or product changes.
Changes will not retrospectively reduce the monetary value or legally protected validity of previously issued Gift Cards.
The version applicable at purchase remains relevant to that purchase, subject to lawful changes and mandatory consumer rights.
